About Immacolata School
IMMACOLATA IS... COMMUNITY
Since our founding in 1949, Immacolata School has been blessed with an extremely caring and supportive parish and school community. In partnership with our dedicated staff, we strive daily to fulfill our mission of providing an excellent Catholic education for our students. We believe in fostering pride in our faith based community and instilling a sense of belonging through building a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
IMMACOLATA IS... FAITH
Faith is always at the forefront at Immacolata. A parent said it best when they said, "We looked at schools all throughout the area, but when we walked in to Immacolata and saw "God 1st, Others 2nd, You 3rd" we knew it was the right fit. In today's day and age, we want our kids to live that".
IMMACOLATA IS... CURRICULUM
Immacolata School provides a challenging curriculum founded in the basic of classic education. Our religious instruction provides students with a foundation focusing on the example of Jesus and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Academics are heavily focused upon providing a knowledge and skill base in all subject areas, upon which our students may grow and thrive in the years ahead.
IMMACOLATA IS... MIDDLE SCHOOL
Students in Grades 5-8 experience a departmental rotation with a varying schedule each day. With increased academic rigor, upper grades place a large focus on increasing student responsibility and self-advocacy. By acquiring religious and academic foundations through the different levels of our school, our students have been very successful in entering the high school of first choice, ready to take full advantage of what is offered at the next level. They move on from Immacolata with Christian values and a foundation to actively participate in their life-long learning process.
IMMACOLATA IS... PRIMARY SCHOOL (KINDERGARTEN - 4TH GRADE)
A loving atmosphere based upon small and whole group instruction is the hallmark of the educational setting in our primary grades. Our students receive a well-rounded foundation in many areas in their early years: religious, academic, social, collaborative learning, yet retaining a healthy sense of individuality and critical thinking. The academic push is increased incrementally each year.
IMMACOLATA IS... PRESCHOOL
Immacolata Catholic School now offers an Early Childhood Program! Our preschool program provides students with center-based academics while placing a large emphasis on students’ social emotional growth. Our classrooms are designed for children to grow and learn in a safe, creative, and loving environment. Learn more here.
IMMACOLATA IS... NURTURING
We are fortunate to have an ample staff consisting of full and part-time dedicated teachers serving our students. They provide an over arching nurturing environment that resonates throughout the school. This nurturing spirit can been see in our students too as they interact with each other through kindness and empathy.
IMMACOLATA IS... TRADITIONS
Immacolata is so much more than just the school. We have a number of long standing events throughout the year that the kids look forward to. These balance the academics to make Immacolata what it is. Trunk or Treat, the Chili Cook-off, Catholic Schools Week, Mission Carnival, Breakfast with Santa, Field Day are just a few of the fabulous events that connect our whole Immacolata community.
IMMACOLATA IS... EXTRACURRICULARS
Immacolata has a wide range of activities for kids of all ages and for the families! Whether it's Chess, Math Facts, Equations Competitions, Immac Service Club, Student Council, Altar Servers or the wide range of CYC sports, there is something for everyone!
IMMACOLATA IS... ATHLETICS
IAA (Immacolata Athletic Association) offers a myriad of sports including soccer, volleyball, basketball, track & field, lacrosse, golf, baseball & softball. It is amazing to have sports built into the school program and both the boys and girl programs excel.
IMMACOLATA IS... LOCATION
Located in Richmond Heights, Missouri, Immacolata School was founded in September of 1949 by the Carondelet Sisters of St. Joseph, who were the first teachers of the school we value today. Our students are divided into three divisions: preschool, primary and upper grades. We take advantage of our three story building by grouping each division close together on the floors of the building. The layout of our school grounds provides an ample recess area, soccer field, blacktop area and a playground.
